The Print Process: Dye sublimation is a printing process that uses heat and pressure to transfer full-color artwork into polyester fabric. The design is first printed onto special transfer paper and then heat pressed onto the garment. During the process, the ink turns into a gas and permanently bonds with the fibers of the fabric.
