How the Dye Sublimation Apparel is Printed
The Print Process: Dye sublimation is a printing process that uses heat and pressure to transfer full-color artwork into polyester fabric. The design is first printed onto special transfer paper and then heat pressed onto the garment. During the process, the ink turns into a gas and permanently bonds with the fibers of the fabric. Because the design becomes part of the material rather than sitting on top of it, the print resists cracking, peeling, and fading, while the shirt remains soft, lightweight, and breathable.
